Podcast: Intervention, Liz, and JMC

Jonah Knight leads off this week's podcast with his monthly segment: Jonah's Musical Corner. In this episode, Jonah introduces us to the work of Heather Dale, a songwriter rooted in chivalry, legend, fairy-tales, and happens to be a self-professed word geek. Her new album, Perpetual Gift, is free at her website: heatherdale.com

Jonah is always looking for new and geeky music. Got some? Send him an email.

After Jonah's high brow segment, we needed a way to bring it down to our usual level, so we launched into discussing dicks, liquor, and butts - because Internet. That's why.

The second section of the podcast is our DCG Intervention Podcast! Liz joins our three usual podcast hosts in a wrap-up podcast of our recent Intervention trip. After a day of back-to-back-to-back interviews, we finally headed back to our room to collapse and decompress. The next few weeks are those interviews, but we're Tarantino'ing this and starting with the recap.

Welcome to the Internet. Let me introduce you to your guides.

The take-away quote is, "The internet is a scary place, and it will take you places you did not want to go." Our Intervention podcasts are truly a beautiful representation of that online underbelly. The direction of conversation is about as coherent as a five-hour Wikipedia binge, so if you're looking for a concise con review, check out Bran's review.
