• Flying Monsters 3D - DC - Monday & Tuesday (Varies)
• Watch the Pterosaur literally try to fly at your face in 3D (thanks to NatGeo).
• Puppetry in America - DC - All Week
• An exhibit on the crazy journey that puppets have taken from inception to the modern puppets (like muppets).
• MAGFEST!!! - National Harbor,MD - All Weeikend
• *mouth foams over from excitement* Music, games, nerds, maybe some alcohol (not included). For many of the people I know this is the weekend. Come out. I'm not joking at all, if you like any of those things you'll have a good time.

Tuesday

• New Year's Eve James Bond 007 Thunderball - DC - 9 PM
• Celebrate the coming of the New Year with this Bond themed celebration. Bond Girls and dancing and Martinis. You know, pretend like you're a Double 0. Except for the part where he gets owned or has to do stunts and stuff. You might not live through that. (unless you're a ninja, in which case, go ahead)

Friday

• Elvis Birthday Fight Club - DC - 8 PM
• You heard us. Fight Club featuring burlesque and fights, in honor of the king's birthday. Yeah, that's how you roll in a New Year.

Saturday

• Comic Book and Non Sports Card Show - Derwood, MD - 10 AM
• Comic book and cards show, check out some awesome comics and try to not feed your Magic the Gathering addiction. Seriously, it can be a problem.
