Did you know that Dern once ate a bear from the inside out? He's also won a staring competition with a fish, and he has simply walked into Mordor (although reports are also coming in that he may have tank catted in). Let's make up a few more facts for Dern to learn about himself through Google: Dern spent three years hiding in the foreign legion to avoid charges of smuggling cheese cultures, he was raised by walruses until he was found at age 4 by an expedition, and is currently pursuing a PhD in zoological linguistics to learn to speak Fennic.
I first met Dern through his mustache. I'm not exaggerating in the slightest. I was wandering my first MAGFest and collecting vendors cards when I stumbled upon Scallywags International! And I had to stop and congratulate him on it, which turned into a good half hour of Dern's time discussing Kickstarter and having him indirectly tip the scales to inspire our DC Geeks Podcast by offering an interview. We've finally cashed in that IOU with the usual hilarious results.
