Podcast - Interview with BJ Dolle (Peaugh)

That's right, he takes them out of the box so you don't have to.

This week we have BJ Dolle as our guest. Known for Transformers toy reviews as Peaugh on YouTube, BJ took some time to talk with us about everything from "Oh, I remember random images from a 70's cartoon. Do you know which one it is?" to his review of Tucker and Dale vs. Evil. This episode is full of nostalgia, and even a few ponies.

If the player isn't working on your browser, here's the link to the mp3.

I was shocked when I actually stopped and looked at BJ's view count. He's currently over 84 million views on his 974 videos. I knew that he reviewed toys, and his beautiful cover of "Cutie Mark Crusaders" has been on my favorites playlist since the day it came out. Because I'm not in the hobby, I had no idea the global appeal that toy collecting has. Although now that I stop and think about it, I'm not surprised that collectors from around the world appreciate BJ's concise reviews.

Of course, after realizing the popularity (and sheer number of videos) on his channel, the carefully ordered but overflowing shelves of toys in his office should have been less of a shock. Toys from every series I'd heard of, and dozens more I hadn't. Yet not a single pony to be found.

Yes, despite what the trolls wish they could bully him into, Peaugh reviews whatever the hell toys he feels like. So the next time you see a pony review on Peaugh's channel, just consider it a reminder that you're not paying him enough to review only transformers toys. (Wait, was that the take-away?)

Thanks again to BJ for talking to us. Check him out at the links below (I also threw in the TFsource links off his channel):
This podcast answers one of the major life questions: What the hell is a "peaugh?"

Oh, and he's a motherfucking Ghostbuster. So there.
