Weekend

• Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus Presents "Dragons" - Fairfax, VA - Wednesday to Sunday
• Tickets are pretty much sold out, but you might be able to drag up some somehow. I haven't heard of a circus being focused on Dragons before!
• PAX East - Boston, MA - Friday to Sunday
• One of the main nerd cons on this coast. Sort of nerd Nirvana. Lots of crazy nerd celebrities as well.

Wednesday

• DCG Happy Hour: Generic Fight Game: Scanty Ladies and Giant Swords! - DC - 7:30 PM
• Fighting games and your fellow DC Geeks come out to celebrate being awesome at Atlas Arcade.

Thursday

• DCGN Takes a Taxi - DC - 6 PM
• Board games!
• Yuri's Night Dance Party - DC - 6 PM
• Yuri's night is the celebration of Yuri Gagarin being the first person into space. People get together and drink for Science!
• Lewis Black: The Rant is Due - DC - 8 PM
• Well known sarcastic comedian hits the town in another piece of stand up / rant.
• Fighting Improv Smackdown Tournament (FIST) Finals - DC - 11 PM
• A face off of comedian versus comedian to find out who is the most fierce-some funny.

Friday

• Doctor Who Burlesque - DC - 10 PM
• Oh my, Doctor Who themed Burlesque comes to town. See under the skirt of the Tardis. Flirt with the Doctor. Watch the Ponds dance. Have fun. :)

Saturday

• Sakura Matsuri - Japanese Street Festival - DC - 10 AM
• Japanese Cherry Blossom festival's street festival day. Shopping, performances, and amazing Japanese food.
• Scooby-Doo Live On Stage! - Baltimore, MD - 1 PM
• Dancing and singing, this is a Scooby Doo play not too far away from any of us.
• Nerd Nite - DC - 6:30 PM
• Three talks focused mainly on the space that is Space.
