- Convention - E3 - Los Angeles, CA - Tuesday to Thursday
- This used to be the ultimate gaming con of the year. In more recent years it's fallen back into a more... casual convention. Regardless, E3 is still loved by a lots of geeks. New games are revealed and new technologies are discussed.
- Comedy - Axis of Awesome - Arlington, VA - Friday and Saturday @ 9:55 PM
- An interesting and bizarre comedy music group. I really think they may become a big thing. I love some of their stuff I've found. Ok, I may have to go to one of these shows if I'm free next weekend. If so you'll see a review.
- Art - Rocky Horror @ E Street Cinema - Washington, DC - Friday and Saturday @ Midnight
- Any desire to dress up in drag and sing the time warp? I've seen the performance done by this Rocky Cast a few times. Always a lot of fun.
Thursday
- Art - Glee Live In Concert - Washington, DC - 7:30 PM
- Pretty much what you're expecting as you read this. This is more or less an episode of Glee live. For the life of me I may never understand the geek obsession with Glee. But it's there and crazy strong. Hopefully you can find tickets still. I know you want to go.
- Art - Sticky Buns Burlesque - Washington, DC - 9:00 PM
- Burlesque show by one of our local... should I say native(?) troupes. They'll bring it. It will be brought. Is that enough references to Bring It On? Can I stop now? Thanks.
